As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.64 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. • Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures. • Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and relevant information to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • CPR certification is preferred. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
