Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern - Quality Engineering. In this role, you will · Contribute to the preparation and execution of quality hardware production including documentation, test reports, inspection records, and process flow. · Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective-action development for non-conformances identified during testing or production. · Support the execution of product audits and inspections to verify compliance with internal standards and customer specifications. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive production improvements and deliver results The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of · Data-analysis tools · Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles, with the ability to apply them to improve product quality and reliability. · Problem solving skills to identify solutions to complex problems Must be a US Citizen. This position will require ability to obtain a government security clearance. ## Basic Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college. · Basic understanding of technical concepts (mechanical drawings, electrical schematics or CAD) * Microsoft Office - basic skills · Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
