Data Engineer We are partnering with our client to hire a Data Engineer. This fully remote, contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a mid-level Data Engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys solving open-ended problems. In this Data Engineer role, you’ll build and automate data workflows across Azure and the broader Microsoft ecosystem, with a major focus on intake automation and scalable integrations. Responsibilities - Build automation across Azure to support data and cloud workflows - Develop OCR-based intake automation to process incoming documents received via email and fax - Create pipelines and processes to deliver reports and forms securely to customers - Build ETL pipelines from CRM data sources (including Salesforce) - Execute data migrations from other business units and systems as needed - Support enablement of AI solutions by contributing to established AI SDLC processes - Implement and maintain API and SFTP integrations to support secure data exchange Qualifications - Hands-on experience with ETL development, including building pipelines and data workflows - Experience with Azure tooling (e.g., Azure Data Factory) and cloud-based data environments - Familiarity with Snowflake and integrating data from Salesforce - Experience with OCR and Azure AI tools for document processing and automation - Proficiency with scripting/programming languages such as Python and PowerShell - Experience building integrations using APIs and SFTP for secure data delivery Key Details - Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire - Compensation: $50 hr - $60 hr (W2) - Benefits (Contract): Our consultants are eligible to enroll in medical, dental and vision benefits. - Location: Remote (must be based in USA) - Work Model: Fully Remote #LI-JH3
