What you’ll do: • Utilize, read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and diagrams • Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, masonry, and reinforced steel • Conduct construction inspections and document project findings • Prepare testing reports and communicate results to project teams and clients • Use specific methods to observe site activities, perform tasks and give the interpretation of results • Attend project meetings alone, without supervision, and communicate effectively with client and project teams. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: • Must possess the following certifications: • ACI: Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1 • Soils, Concrete, Masonry, , Reinforced Steel • Asphalt Level 1B Roadway Specialist • Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record • Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed • Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently. Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance. • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound. • Ability to kneel and squat occasionally • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold) • Ability to climb occasionally Preferred Certifications Requirements & Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent • NICET II Intertek: Total Quality.
