As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter; working conditions may vary throughout the location. • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access concerns. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. • Document observations, patrol activities, and security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. • A guard card or license is preferred. • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
