Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Mount Vernon, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and badge processes, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location. • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, perimeter access points, and grounds to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards. • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed. • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while communicating relevant observations to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership. Minimum Requirements: • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
