Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to clients at a chemical and petrochemical location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures. • Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels. • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized entry. • Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting security-related operations at the location. Minimum Requirements: • Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Alarm panel experience is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
