Hospice IPU RN – Making every moment matter • This is a Full Time night shift position, 7pm-7:30am with every 3rd weekend rotation and every other holiday rotation. Located at our Hospice of Dayton IPU but will float to our Troy and Middletown IPU as needed. • We provide superior care and superior service to patients at their end-of-life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed. As a Hospice RN you will plan and deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interact with patients, families and other interdisciplinary team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end-of-life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed. Hospice RN Qualifications: RN's - Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio without any board actions. Two years of acute care nursing experience preferred. • CPR Certified • Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred; required within two years of employment.
