Work Location & Travel: Position is based out of the Houston, Texas Equipment Yard with required travel and long-term assignments to field project locations. Current project location is Pecos, Texas. A Business Travel Allowance (BTA) is paid for eligible field assignments, with the allowance amount based on the assigned project location. • Typically requires a minimum of 48 months of industrial construction, heavy civil, mining, or comparable equipment-operating experience, including at least three years’ operating heavy civil construction equipment. • Demonstrated experience operating multiple types of equipment, such as dozers, excavators, graders, loaders, haul trucks, articulated trucks, compactors, rollers, scrapers, backhoes, or similar equipment. Other light equipment may include forklifts, dump trucks, fuel trucks, and trailer trucks. • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required. • Ability to understand and follow work plans, operating procedures, equipment instructions, safety requirements, and direction from field supervision. • Ability to work independently, maintain situational awareness, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively in an active construction environment. • Ability to use tablets, mobile applications, radios, and other digital tools required for reporting and equipment operations. • Ability and willingness to travel up to 100% and work at assigned project locations, including varying shifts, extended hours, weekends, and overtime as project needs require. • Ability to meet project-specific access, training, medical, physical, and site qualification requirements.
