1. SAP Solution Architect – S/4HANA & BTP Role Overview Experience: 10–15 years Location: Chennai Travel: Willingness to travel to client locations as required. We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Architect to design and guide SAP solutions that align with business requirements and organizational objectives. The role involves understanding end-to-end business processes, defining solution architecture, and guiding teams on SAP S/4HANA, cloud technologies, BTP, data migration, and system integration. You will collaborate with clients, functional consultants, technical teams, and project managers to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, secure, and maintainable. The ideal candidate combines strong business process understanding with SAP architecture knowledge and the ability to guide teams through solution design and implementation. Key Responsibilities 1. Solution Architecture & Design • Understand business requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP solution designs. • Apply end-to-end business process knowledge across relevant SAP modules. • Define and guide solution architecture involving SAP S/4HANA, cloud platforms, and BTP. • Promote fit-to-standard approaches and SAP clean core principles. • Evaluate design options and recommend solutions that balance business needs, complexity, scalability, and maintainability. 2. Integration & Data Migration • Guide integration architecture between SAP and non-SAP systems. • Work with functional and technical teams to evaluate interfaces, APIs, middleware, and integration dependencies. • Guide data migration strategy, including data mapping, quality, validation, and reconciliation considerations. • Identify architecture risks and dependencies and recommend appropriate mitigation approaches. 3. Architecture Governance & Implementation Support • Review solution designs and ensure alignment with agreed architecture principles. • Guide functional consultants, developers, and technical specialists on architecture decisions. • Consider security, performance, scalability, and maintainability in solution design. • Support design decisions throughout implementation, testing, cutover, and go-live. • Maintain appropriate architecture documentation and decision records. 4. Client & Stakeholder Collaboration • Engage with clients and business stakeholders to understand requirements and explain solution recommendations. • Present architecture options, design decisions, and technical trade-offs in a clear, business-friendly manner. • Collaborate with project managers and delivery teams to resolve design dependencies. • Identify opportunities to simplify solutions, reuse existing capabilities, and improve implementation quality. Essential Skills • End-to-end business process knowledge across relevant SAP modules. • SAP S/4HANA solution architecture and implementation understanding. • Working knowledge of SAP cloud architecture and BTP. • Understanding of data migration strategy and related implementation considerations. • Knowledge of fit-to-standard approaches and clean core principles. • Understanding of integration architecture across SAP and non-SAP systems. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred Skills • Familiarity with SAP Business AI and Joule capabilities. • Industry domain knowledge relevant to enterprise SAP implementations. • Understanding of SAP security and authorization concepts. • Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere. • Strong customer presentation and solution storytelling skills. • SAP S/4HANA or BTP certifications. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. • 10–15 years of relevant SAP experience, with demonstrable experience in solution design and architecture. • Experience working with functional, technical, integration, and data teams. • Ability to evaluate solution options, explain design trade-offs, and guide implementation teams.
