Job Details: Job Location: BELL TOWER GROUP LLC - HOUSTON, TX, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $55000.00 - $120000.00Base+Commission/month, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Sales, Event Sales Executive, Inbound Venue Sales
The Bell Tower on 34th, Houston, TX
Full-Time | Performance-Based | $55,000 to $120,000+ per year
The Bell Tower on 34th is one of Houston’s most established high-end event venues, producing weddings and corporate events at scale for 18+ years. We are hiring one inbound sales professional who sells with authority, follows a proven system, and treats sales as a craft that is never finished.
This is not a tour guide role. This is a professional closing role with a defined process, clear metrics, and a standing expectation that you keep getting better every week.
The Role
You will work qualified inbound inquiries from couples and organizations. You will conduct tours that are decision meetings, not walkthroughs. Every tour ends seated at a table with a defined offer and a direct ask. You will present pricing without apology, sit in the silence, and guide the prospect to a decision.
You will sell the way an advisor sells: discovery before presentation, authority before persuasion, and certainty before pressure. We teach this system. You execute it, then you help make it better.
What You Will Do
Respond to new inquiries within minutes, not hours
Schedule and conduct venue tours using our defined sales sequence
Present pricing and packages in person and ask for the deposit
Follow up on a cadence until the prospect decides or is cleanly disqualified
Keep the CRM current the same day, every day
Review your own recorded calls and tours each week and bring what you found to coaching
Test one improvement to your language or sequence every month and report what the data said
Continuous Improvement Is Part of the Job, Not a Bonus
Our best salespeople read, study, and test. If you have not read a sales book in the last year, this is not the right fit. You will be expected to:
Complete an assigned sales reading list in your first 90 days and discuss how you are applying it
Work from a script and treat the script as a living document you help refine
Participate in A/B tests on follow-up messages, tour language, and closing questions
Record calls and tours for coaching and accept direct feedback on them
Learn our AI-assisted sales tools and use them daily
If you nod along in interviews and then do none of this, you will not last here. If you already do this on your own, you will earn well and advance.
Technology
CRM, AI-assisted communication tools, call and meeting recording for coaching, and digital scheduling. You will use your personal cell phone for client communication. The company provides a laptop.
Schedule
Prospects tour evenings and weekends. When a client is ready to decide, the schedule follows the opportunity. That sometimes means early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or lunch between tours.
Presentation
You represent the brand at all times. Maintain a polished, professional appearance that matches the quality of the venue.
How Success Is Measured
Tour-to-close conversion of 20% or higher (top performers run 25%+)
Response time to new leads
Same-day CRM accuracy
Execution of the sales sequence on recorded tours
Evidence of improvement month over month
Who Thrives Here
Competitive closers who are comfortable discussing their numbers
People who like structure and proven systems, and who improve them rather than ignore them
Readers and students of the craft
Fast responders who stay organized
Professionals who ask directly for the business
Highly coachable people who want honest feedback
Compensation
$55,000 to $120,000+ per year. Top performers earn significantly more through consistent closing. We reward results, discipline, and growth.
How to Apply
Include the phrase “Process creates performance” in your application. Then answer these two questions in three to five sentences each:
What is the last sales or persuasion book you read, and what is one thing you changed in how you sell because of it?
Describe a time you tested a change to your pitch, script, or follow-up. What did you compare, and what happened?
Applications without both answers will not be reviewed.
Qualifications: Required Qualifications
Two or more years of closing experience in hospitality, events, real estate, or other high-ticket sales, with a close rate you can state and defend
A demonstrated habit of studying the craft: you can name sales books you have read and specific changes you made because of them
Experience testing and refining your own language, follow-up, or scripts, and the ability to describe what you compared and what the result was
Strong, authoritative verbal communication; you lead the conversation rather than react to it
Confidence presenting pricing and packages in person and asking directly for the deposit
Comfort working inside a structured sales script and defined process, and the ability to learn the script within the first week of training
Willingness to be recorded on calls and tours and to review those recordings in coaching
Comfort using CRM systems and modern sales technology, including AI-assisted tools, as part of daily work and training
Highly coachable; you seek out feedback and act on it
Strong personal ownership of results
Polished, professional appearance appropriate to a high-end venue
Availability for evening and weekend tours as needed
Ability to use a personal cell phone for client communication
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with established sales methodologies and persuasion research
Prior experience in a role where tours, demos, or consultations were the primary sales mechanism
