Utilizing state of the art strategies, processes and human capital, Controlled ensures the highest degree of service and integrity for the sensitive environment we support; impacting those industries that impact the world.   POSITION PURPOSE: The Floor Technician’s role is to perform periodic advanced floor care duties to include stripping, dressing, buffing and waxing of hard floors, carpet extraction and shampooing, and terrazzo maintenance, carpet cleaning, pressure washing, special cleanings and other projects as assigned.    SHIFT DETAILS: Wednesday- Sunday 9:00 pm- 5:00 am   MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Vacuum, clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.    Dry and wet mop hard-surface floors.    Mixes chemicals needed to perform duties.    Performs periodic routine maintenance of equipment required to perform tasks.    Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the Supervisor.      Spray buff hard surface floors. Refinish hard surfaces.   Performs machine pressure washing and reclaims water.  All other duties as defined by supervisor.    PRIMARY RESULTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR ACHIEVING: Other more specific results will be assigned and measured.   Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Qualifications: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1 year of experience in the cleaning and/or janitorial arenas Versed in safety requirements, equipment use, scheduling and training. SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
