In this role you will be: • Following established procedures, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and radiographic examinations as ordered by the health care provider and their corresponding documentation in the Electronic Medical Record • Application of Event monitors (where applicable) • Assessing and providing appropriate treatment for all patients ranging from neonate through adult. • Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, visitors, and hospital personnel. • Able to deal with stressful situations and heavy workloads. • Accurately obtain and enter patient demographic and insurance data for the registration process. QUALIFICATIONS Required: • EDUCATION: Successful completion of an approved school of Radiologic Technology required • EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred • LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: • Registered with the ARRT upon hire • BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
