As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, monitoring entry activity, and providing exceptional customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to support site operations, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals to appropriate facility contacts in accordance with established procedures. • Assist with controlling entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials at manufacturing and industrial locations, reporting unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required. • Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: • A Guard Card or license is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Access control or badge experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
