Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, where you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, responding to alarms, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. This is a driving position. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.32 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location. • Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for individuals and vehicles entering or leaving designated areas; issue visitor passes and maintain accurate access-related records. • Monitor access-control systems, alarms, cameras, and entry points; report irregularities, equipment concerns, and suspicious activity according to site procedures. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed. • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. • Supervisory experience is required. • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Alarm panel experience is preferred. • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. • Be at least 21 years of age • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
