Local Team Collaboration: • We believe in local, site-led leadership. • Strong collaboration between all 5 physicians and 19 CRNAs on the team. • Recently earned Level II Maternal Care verification by The Joint Commission in 2025. Key Responsibilities: • Provide perioperative and postoperative care for Sacred Heart Emerald Coast, which covers general, ortho (including spine), and OB/GYN services. • As chief, in conjunction with the Medical Staff of the Facility, establish and maintain standards of patient care as it relates to anesthesia, including initiating medical care evaluation studies after consultation with administration of the Facility and as needed to ensure quality patient care. • Monitor and evaluate the quality, safety, and appropriateness of patient care services provided within the Department and take appropriate action based on such findings. • Represent the department on the Medical Staff of the facility, serve as liaison between the department and other departments of the Facility, and attend and report on activities of the Department at the various committees and general meetings. • Work closely with Sound, hospital administrators, and surgeons. Scheduling: • 1:5 physician rotation with a guaranteed post call day off. • Home call. • 10 weeks guaranteed off annually. Qualifications: • Completion of a US Residency. • Board certification in Anesthesia. • Active FL license. • Authorized to work in the United States.
