To Apply for this Job Click Here Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer Location Requirements: Hybrid remote; Miami, FL Job Type: Contract Role Overview: You will support the reliability, availability, and performance of high-volume, customer-facing digital platforms and applications. Acting as a first responder for production issues, you will use monitoring and observability tools to proactively identify problems, assess their severity and business impact, troubleshoot incidents, and coordinate with engineering teams for resolution. Your focus will be on production reliability, incident triage, resiliency, automation, and developing intelligent guardrails to prevent issues before they affect customers. You’ll bring deep hands-on experience with observability tooling and AI/LLMs to improve operational efficiency and system resilience. Responsibilities: • Monitor the health, availability, and performance of high-volume customer-facing applications using observability platforms such as Splunk and Dynatrace • Build and enhance dashboards to visualize application and platform health • Identify trends and recurring issues impacting reliability or user experience • Proactively surface potential problems before they lead to incidents • Serve as a first responder for production application and platform issues • Investigate and triage incidents to determine severity, scope, and impact • Escalate issues to engineering teams for technical remediation • Coordinate across technical and business stakeholders during incidents • Drive follow-up to ensure permanent resolution of recurring issues • Support release evaluations and identify when to pause or roll back unstable releases • Apply SRE principles to improve platform resiliency and operational performance • Support chaos engineering and other resiliency practices • Identify system weaknesses and develop strategies to reduce future incidents • Partner with engineering teams to implement long-term fixes for reliability issues • Develop automation and guardrails using LLMs and AI agents • Build or enhance synthetic monitoring capabilities to simulate customer journeys • Use automated monitoring to validate system health and proactively identify failures • Apply AI/LLMs to operational and reliability activities, automating repetitive tasks • Continuously seek opportunities for automation in monitoring and incident response Required Qualifications: • 8–12 years of overall technology experience preferred • Strong hands-on Site Reliability Engineering experience • Significant experience with monitoring and observability • Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, and/or comparable APM and observability platforms • Strong production incident triage and troubleshooting skills • Understanding of SRE fundamentals, resiliency practices, and chaos engineering • Experience supporting highly available, customer-facing production applications • Ability to assess severity, scope, and business impact of incidents • Experience partnering with development and engineering teams to resolve complex issues • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Must be local to the Miami, FL area and able to work onsite regularly To Apply for this Job Click Here Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Gravity IT Resources is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
