To Apply for this Job Click Here Job Title: Business Analyst Location Requirements: On-Site, Tallahassee, FL Job Type: Contract Role Overview: Join a full lifecycle agile/hybrid development team as a Business Analyst. You will work directly with subject matter experts, business offices, technical teams, and other stakeholders to turn strategic and operational needs into clear business and technical requirements. You need strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills to build productive relationships across teams. Responsibilities: • Research and analyze business processes, documenting workflows, process dependencies, and cross-functional interactions • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to develop technical specifications, use cases, business rules, and other analysis artifacts • Plan, prepare, and support testing activities including regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, and performance testing • Gather and document business goals, translating them into measurable requirements for application, infrastructure, and solutions • Support business process redesign and documentation for remediation, modernization, migration, and sunset initiatives • Assess technical problems, provide recommendations aligned with modernization goals • Identify process improvement opportunities, document current workflows, perform gap analyses, and design future-state processes • Prepare business cases and feasibility studies; participate in work sessions for remediation and migration planning • Synthesize complex data from multiple sources into clear summaries for executive review • Prepare executive materials summarizing risk, value, feasibility, and modernization considerations • Support system remediation and modernization efforts, including dependency identification, environment validation, and application readiness/testing coordination • Track remediation progress, confirm prerequisites, and assist with documentation updates throughout the lifecycle Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent work experience may substitute) • Minimum 5 years of business process analysis and requirements documentation experience, including independent facilitation with executives and SMEs • Proficiency in process mapping/modeling tools (e.g., Visio) • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Experience with data migration practices, testing/QA tools and techniques, and change/release management • Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical specifications • Experience using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for collaboration and document management To Apply for this Job Click Here Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Gravity IT Resources is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
