In this Marine Shore Engineer/Marine Mechanic opportunity, you’ll tackle varied electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, installation, and repair with a stable local customer base. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Marine Shore Engineer/Marine Mechanic position include: • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in marine or industrial maintenance/service, including electric motors, pumps, air compressors, hydraulics, and pneumatics • High- and low-voltage electrical work including 480, 208-240, 120, and 3 phase/1 phase systems, plus low-voltage systems (12-24-32) • Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild equipment at customer sites and aboard vessels • Shipboard cable work including sizing, pulling, and terminating (including THHN, low smoke, shore power, and shielded cable) • Surveillance camera installation and related vessel equipment support • Threading, fabrication, install, and repair of steel and stainless-steel pipe • Work with pneumatic tubing, hoses, and fittings, as well as hydraulic tubing, hoses, and fittings • Respond to troubleshooting, installation, repair, and emergency-service needs while working independently and safely Salary: $24 - $30 per hour, based on experience.
