This Tool And Die Maker opportunity is based in Elk Grove Village, IL, with an exclusively onsite schedule at a growing facility. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Tool And Die Maker position include: • Prototype and short-run tooling experience required; 5+ years of Tool & Die Maker experience preferred. • Kick press, four-slide, and punch press tooling experience preferred. • Strong proficiency in milling and precision grinding operations. • Tool and die design and press tooling experience. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings and GD&T requirements. • Perform precision grinding to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes. • Inspect completed work using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, comparators). • Troubleshoot tooling and production issues and implement corrective actions while following safety and quality standards.
