This Project Manager / Mechanical Engineering Manager opportunity combines customer-facing project leadership with mechanical engineering management and R&D support in a growing, mission-driven manufacturing environment. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Manager / Mechanical Engineering Manager position include: • 5+ years of experience in bulk material handling. • Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing big-picture scope and schedule with hands-on technical and operational detail. • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers, communicating regularly and proactively with minimal day-to-day oversight. • Own project timelines, budgets, and deliverables; escalate risks and resolve issues before they impact schedule or cost. • Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, shop, and sales teams to keep projects moving from quote to delivery. • Oversee and mentor at least one mechanical drafter (3D CAD), with the expectation that the team will grow and you will scale engineering support. • Assign work and hold team members accountable for deadlines and accuracy of deliverables. • Oversee shop assembly of equipment and systems, providing hands-on support and troubleshooting as needed.
