Qualifications and responsibilities for this Asphalt/Concrete Estimator position include: • 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with specific expertise in concrete and asphalt. • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, specifications, and technical documents. • Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar). • Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates for concrete work. • Calculate costs of labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors. • Identify potential risks and opportunities in the estimating process. • Prepare and present bid proposals in a timely and professional manner. • Maintain cost databases and stay current with market trends in pricing and construction methods.
