We are working on behalf of an independently owned, newly built veterinary hospital in New Bern, NC, seeking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its growing team. Opened just over a year ago, this modern facility was designed from the ground up to support both general practice and emergency medicine under one roof, meaning pets never need to be transferred between a day clinic and a separate emergency facility. The hospital is equipped with five exam rooms, separate dog and cat wards, an isolation suite with its own ventilation, a double surgery suite, a dedicated dental suite, in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment, digital radiography, and an on-site CT scanner, a rare capability for a hospital of this size. You will practice general medicine during the day alongside true emergency coverage in the evenings, with a schedule built around four working days a week and rotating weekend shifts.
