We are working on behalf of a long-established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Buffalo, NY, that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team. This hospital has a strong community reputation, where doctors have the tools and support to practice the kind of medicine they trained for. The team is made up of four doctors working alongside 15 skilled LVTs and veterinary assistants, and the hospital is unusually well resourced for a general practice. In addition to GPs, the hospital has a board-certified surgeon on site, a VTS in anesthesia and analgesia, and an overnight technician who cares for hospitalized patients. Doctors have access to digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and a full dental setup, including dental radiography. The caseload is small and focused on companion animals, and the culture rewards curiosity, teaching, and collaboration. If you enjoy learning from specialists, sharing knowledge with your team, and building lasting client relationships based on trust, you will fit right in. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, and relief may also be possible. The hospital is open Monday through Saturday, with two late midweek evenings and a short Saturday morning. You will be supported by an organization that invests in its doctors, with a dedicated wellbeing program, generous CE support, and opportunities to get involved in clinical studies.
