Lead a Fear Free, 4-doctor small animal hospital as Medical Director in Southbury, CT. 4 shifts per week! We are working on behalf of a well-established practice in Southbury, CT that is looking to welcome a Medical Director to lead its medical team. This is a chance to keep practicing the medicine you enjoy while setting the clinical direction and standards of the hospital, with the backing of a large network of support behind you. The hospital is Fear Free certified and well equipped, with dental radiology, hands-free radiology, an in-house lab, a surgical suite, and cold laser therapy for pain management and post-op recovery. You will be supported by more than 10 support staff who know their roles well, so you are never practicing on your own. The role is full-time across 4 shifts per week. The hospital is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 to 5, Tuesday and Thursday from 8 to 7, and Saturdays from 8 to 3 on a rotating basis, with Sundays closed. As Medical Director, you will mentor and develop the doctors and care team, help shape the culture of the practice, and build strong, trusting relationships with clients. Ongoing development is a real focus here, with a CE allowance, paid CE days, a large library of in-house CE, and the chance to take part in clinical studies.
