We are working on behalf of a long-established small animal hospital in Batesburg-Leesville, SC that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team. The practice has cared for pets in this community since 1981 and has built its reputation on high-quality medicine delivered at a price families can afford. This is a collaborative, community-minded environment where you will work alongside experienced veterinarians and a support team that knows the clients and their pets by name. The caseload is varied companion animal general practice, covering wellness and preventive care, medical workups, routine surgery, diagnostic imaging, and client education, so you will keep your skills broad rather than narrow. Mentorship is genuine here and new graduates are welcome to apply, with experienced doctors on hand and the time built in to talk cases through. Scheduling is flexible and the practice is serious about protecting your time away from the clinic. Batesburg-Leesville offers small town living, an affordable cost of living, and a strong sense of community, with Columbia, Lexington, and Lake Murray all within easy reach for weekends. If you want to practice good medicine, build real relationships with your clients, and still have a life outside work, this is worth a conversation.
