Registered Nurse - Pediatrics Location: Beaumont, TX Status: Full-Time Shift: Day Shift and Night Shift available - 3x12s Overview A well-established acute-care hospital in Beaumont, TX is seeking a competent, independent Pediatric RN to join its Pediatric Services team. In this role you will deliver routine and complex nursing care to children and their families, plan toward long-range patient goals, manage changing clinical situations with confidence, and delegate appropriately to other members of the care team. What You'll Do • Provide nursing care using the full nursing process - assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation - consistent with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice • Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of pediatric patients and their families • Administer medications and treatments per protocol and monitor for side effects and effectiveness • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided • Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers while connecting them with resources • Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers to keep the unit running smoothly What You Bring • Active RN license in Texas or a compact (multistate) license • Current BLS certification (required) • Current PALS or PEARS certification (required) • 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty (preferred) • Recent pediatric experience or completion of an RN residency (preferred) • BSN (preferred) Onboarding & Development • New Nurse Orientation within your first 30 days • One-on-one precepting by a trained staff member, with organizational and pediatric-specific competency validation • Annual competency verification to keep your skills sharp Schedule & Compensation • Three 12-hour shifts per week - Day Shift and Night Shift openings • Pay: $27.50 - $43.00 per hour, based on experience About i4 Search Group i4 Search Group is a healthcare recruiting firm connecting talented nurses and clinicians with leading hospitals across the country.
