Job Title RN – ICU (Travel Contract) Location Farmington, ME | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every Other Weekend Key Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and unstable adult patients (18+) in a 4-bed ICU with a 1:2 patient ratio • Assist with intubation and ventilator management as part of routine critical care responsibilities • Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment including cardiac, respiratory, temperature, and ETCO2 monitoring (Philips systems) • Manage IV infusions, PCA/epidural pumps, and enteral feeding equipment; document care using EPIC EMR • Provide occasional off-hours PACU-level recovery care as needed • Float to med-surg/telemetry units as required Required Qualifications • Active RN license • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required • Demonstrated ICU/critical care experience including vent management, central line care, and care coordination of critically ill patients • Proficiency with EPIC EMR Preferred Experience / Skills • 3–5 years of critical care/ICU experience • CCRN certification • PACU experience Why Join Us • Work in a close-knit, specialized ICU environment with a low patient ratio (1:2), allowing for focused, high-quality patient care • No on-call requirements, with the possibility of additional call hours if desired
