Job Title Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU / Step-Down) Location Lone Tree, CO | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a 45-bed Progressive Care Unit with patient ratios of 4–5 patients per nurse • Manage cardiac drips and cardiac catheters in an acute care setting • Perform chest tube management, wound care, and administration of TPN/lipids • Utilize cardiac monitoring equipment and other unit technology to assess and monitor patient status • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and medical support technicians to deliver high-quality patient care • Document patient information accurately using the Meditech EMR system Required Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience • Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility) • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required Preferred Experience / Skills • Cardiac and/or ICU experience • Prior experience with Meditech EMR • Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative approach to patient care and staff interactions Why Join Us • Work alongside an experienced, tenured staff on a well-equipped unit featuring new lift equipment and iMobile technology • Self-scheduling options available, offering flexibility to support work-life balance
