Full description

Don't see a position matching your skills and background? Keep an eye out on this website for future openings, as we are constantly evaluating our needs!
You know the environmental world: surveys, abatement scopes, the people who sign off on them, and the property managers who need them done right. You’d rather be out building relationships than waiting on inbound leads. At Spyder, you’ll be the person who opens doors for our Environmental division, and you’ll be paid for what you bring in.
Spyder is a Littleton-based construction and restoration company. Our Environmental division handles asbestos, lead, mold, and meth remediation and selective demolition for commercial, multifamily, and HOA properties across Colorado. We’re growing it, and this role is how we grow it.
What You’ll Do
• Open doors. Prospect and build relationships with property management firms, owners, general contractors, environmental consultants, and industrial hygienists across the Denver metro and Front Range.
• Speak the language. Talk through scopes, survey results, and regulatory drivers with an IH or a GC superintendent as a peer.
• Qualify the work. Gather what our Environmental Project Director needs to price a job: survey status, timeline, permitting, occupancy, budget, and who makes the decision. Then hand it off clean.
• Turn jobs into accounts. Follow up after first projects, earn repeat work, and spot where an abatement job leads to rebuild or mitigation work for Spyder’s other divisions.
• Keep your pipeline honest. Track activity and opportunities in our CRM so you, your manager, and the team can see what’s working.
• Show up where it counts. Represent Spyder at groups like BOMA, IREM, the Apartment Association of Metro Denver, and CAI.
What You Bring
Must-haves:
• 3+ years in business development, sales, or account management in environmental services, abatement, restoration, mitigation, or environmental consulting
• Working knowledge of at least some of the following: asbestos, lead, mold, or meth scopes, and willingness to learn the rest of the technical and Colorado regulatory side quickly
• A track record of winning new business, not just managing accounts you were handed
• Comfort with proactive outreach and building a pipeline from scratch
• Experience using a CRM
• A valid Colorado driver’s license and ability to meet Spyder’s driving record requirements
Nice-to-haves:
• Colorado asbestos or meth certification, or AHERA building inspector training
• An existing network of Front Range IHs, consultants, property managers, or GCs
• Insurance-driven or restoration sales experience
• A bachelor’s degree
The Work
Based out of our Littleton office, with most of your week spent in the field meeting clients across the Denver metro and Front Range. Occasional site walks on pre-abatement or active projects (Spyder provides PPE and safety training). Some early mornings, evenings, and industry events. Full-time, exempt. Reports to the VP of Sales.
Pay and Benefits
• Base salary: $60k to $110k per year
• Commission eligible
Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with a 4% company match, company-paid life insurance, paid time off and sick leave, optional accident and critical illness coverage, and an employee assistance program.
Why Spyder
You’ll get real autonomy: clear expectations, then trust to decide how to meet them. Our crews hold a consistent standard on every job, so the commitments you make to clients get delivered. We value honesty, follow-through, and people who think ahead.
How to Apply
Apply with your resume. You’ll then get a link to a short behavioral assessment that takes a few minutes. After that, a real person on our team reviews your application.
