• Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; four or more years of experience with a bachelors degree or two or more years of experience with a masters degree. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education. • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated software build, packaging, and deployment systems. • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining full-stack web applications, including front-end user interfaces and back-end services. • Experience with PyPI-compatible package repositories, Python package management, and build systems. • Experience with Poetry, PyInstaller, and other Python packaging and distribution tools is desirable. • Experience packaging and distributing Windows binary applications. LabVIEW application build and distribution experience is a significant plus. • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Bamboo, or comparable tools. • Experience with GitLab, Team Foundation Server, Subversion, ClearCase, Perforce, or another source/configuration management system. • Experience with source control and configuration management concepts, including branching, tagging, baselines, versioning, and change control. • Experience administering or integrating build and automation tools. • Experience troubleshooting software builds and deployment or release workflows. • Strong understanding of software development life-cycle processes and controlled release practices. • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience integrating automated build systems with formal SCM or configuration management environments. • Experience with artifact repositories, such as JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, or equivalent. • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or PowerShell DSC. • Experience creating and consuming REST APIs and developing integrations between engineering tools. • Experience with containers and container platforms, such as Docker or Kubernetes. • Experience Windows build environments. • Experience working in a regulated, safety-critical, defense, aerospace, or other configuration-controlled environment. • Experience with requirements traceability, quality gates, formal verification, or release certification.
