• Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in computer science, information system or related discipline and progressive software development experience as follows; nine or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, seven or more years of experience with a masters degree, or four or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education. • Experience with deployment technologies, such as Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration. • Experience with metrics monitoring and dashboards (Grafana). • Understanding of user access practices and security controls within a system. • Understanding of system administration in various OS environments. • Strong knowledge of configuration management tools. • Strong communication and documentation skills. • Understanding of software development lifecycle best practices. • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.  • Able to work extended hours as required.  • PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Understanding of AWS services and cloud management. • Experience executing against database technologies. • Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet). • Continuous integration processes and tools such as Jenkins. • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools. • System monitoring and analysis. • Familiarity with Intelligence Community and DoD mission sets. • CompTIA Security+ certification or willingness to get certified.
