Part of the CAS IT organization, the role partners with Product, Business, UX, Enterprise Architecture and Engineering teams to drive application modernization, API-first integration and cloud adoption. Requirements • 9+ years of total experience, with 7–9 years in solution design and delivery for enterprise-scale applications. • Hands-on technical background with Java and Angular, Node JS (7+ years, advanced). • Proven experience designing API-based integrations, microservices and distributed applications. • Experience defining integration and data flow designs across Guidewire and enterprise platforms (desirable). • Exposure to mobile application development (1–3 years). • Strong background working with Agile teams, SDLC and CI/CD practices; SAFe / ART exposure is a plus. • Able to bridge business and technology: advanced stakeholder management, communication and influence. • Track record mentoring engineers and guiding technical direction across multiple teams. • Insurance or financial services industry experience preferred. • Fluent English and Bachelor's degree required. (Desirable not mandatory) • Provide technical leadership and implementation guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle. • Run solution and design reviews covering business, security, performance and operational requirements. • Drive application modernization, platform simplification and reusable solution patterns. • Mentor engineers and support production stability, technical risk management and continuous improvement.
