Full-time Psychiatric RN Nurse Supervisor in La Marque, TX leading a nursing team in a crisis intervention unit with 12 extended observation beds and 12 crisis respite beds, impacting behavioral health care in the community. The role ensures safe medication administration, crisis de-escalation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary providers. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and direct a team of nurses and direct-care staff on the crisis unit, including assignments, coaching, and performance feedback • Oversee admissions, triage, and nursing assessments for adults in psychiatric crisis • Ensure safe medication administration and accurate documentation across the shift • Lead crisis de-escalation and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment • Collaborate with psychiatric providers, counselors, and case managers on care plans and discharges • Monitor compliance with policies, regulatory standards, and quality measures • Train and orient new staff and support ongoing competency development • Serve as the point of contact for escalations, incidents, and staffing needs Qualifications: • Associate's (ADN) or Bachelor's (BSN) degree in Nursing; BSN preferred • Active RN license in Texas or a multistate compact license • BLS/CPR certification • Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including psychiatric RN experience • 1 year of behavioral health, IDD, or dual diagnosis experience • 1 year of supervisory experience with direct reports • 1 year of ER or triage experience Preferred Skills: • BSN preferred • SAMA certification preferred Benefits: • Salary up to $95,000 per year, based on experience • 36 guaranteed hours per week, no on-call or call-back • 12 paid holidays including New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day • Holiday flexibility: if you work a paid holiday, receive holiday pay in addition to your worked hours, or take the hours on another day within 30 days • Full-time 3x13 schedule (36 hours per week guaranteed)
