Full-Time Psychiatric RN Nurse Supervisor - Crisis Unit - La Marque, TX. Lead a nursing team in a crisis intervention unit with 12 extended observation beds and 12 crisis respite beds, and make a lasting impact on behavioral health care in your community. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and direct a team of nurses and direct-care staff on the crisis unit, including assignments, coaching, and performance feedback • Oversee admissions, triage, and nursing assessments for adults in psychiatric crisis • Ensure safe medication administration and accurate documentation across the shift • Lead crisis de-escalation and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment • Collaborate with psychiatric providers, counselors, and case managers on care plans and discharges • Monitor compliance with policies, regulatory standards, and quality measures • Train and orient new staff and support ongoing competency development • Serve as the point of contact for escalations, incidents, and staffing needs Qualifications: • Associate's (ADN) or Bachelor's (BSN) degree in Nursing • Active RN license in Texas or a multistate compact license • BLS/CPR certification • Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including psychiatric RN experience • 1 year of behavioral health, IDD, or dual diagnosis experience • 1 year of supervisory experience with direct reports • 1 year of ER or triage experience Preferred Skills: • BSN preferred • SAMA certification preferred Benefits: • Salary: up to $95,000 per year, based on experience • 36 guaranteed hours per week, no on-call or call-back • 12 paid holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day • Holiday flexibility: if you work a paid holiday, receive holiday pay in addition to your worked hours, or take the hours on another day within 30 days
