Purpose of Job: To consistently service and aggressively expand an assigned set of customers along a predetermined route. Job Components: • Sell new batteries to National Account dealers • Rotate batteries and collect cores • Maintain the route by keeping displays clean and keeping dealer list up to date • Service each National Account dealer • Establish, build and maintain good dealer relationships • Complete documentation on a timely basis • Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to Distributorship. Qualifications: • Must possess current CDL and have clean driving record. • Prior sales experience highly desirable • Good communication skills • Strong customer service skills. • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Current, valid state driver’s license • Ability to read, write and compute basic math. • Minimum 2 years demonstrated sales , customer service and delivery experience Scope Data: • Uses frequent independent judgment when making decisions Work Environment • Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk. • Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus • Ability to lift and/or move 50+ lbs. • Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
