Job Title Travel – Registered Respiratory Therapist Location Tallahassee, FL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Travel Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected minimum of three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends | Projected Start: January 20, 2026 Key Responsibilities • Perform aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, and ventilator management across inpatient units • Rotate through all inpatient floors including two 10-bed ICUs as part of standard floating policy • Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounding and collaborate closely with nursing and other clinical disciplines • Operate advanced respiratory equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Philips V60+, and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers • Perform advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist • Document clinical care using the Meditech electronic documentation system and adhere to patient experience standards (AIDET) Required Qualifications • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required • Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy • Experience in critical care (ICU) and emergency care (ER) settings required; adult critical care with weekend rotation experience required • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required • PALS certification required • NRP certification required Preferred Experience / Skills • Level II NICU and pediatric respiratory experience • Proficiency with Meditech documentation platform • Experience with advanced respiratory procedures such as intubation and arterial line insertion Why Join Us • Join a collaborative, experienced respiratory therapy team of approximately 30 clinicians working at the top of their licenses in a fully-accredited acute-care hospital environment • Gain exposure to a wide range of advanced equipment and procedures across multiple inpatient units, including two dedicated ICUs
