Job Title Travel RN – Medical Surgical Location Arlington, TX | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Full-Time | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio • Care for post-surgical patients including those recovering from cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement • Manage pain management protocols and care for CIWA patients • Utilize unit equipment including Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and bladder scanners • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system • Float to other units as needed based on hospital census and staffing requirements Required Qualifications • Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility) • Current BLS certification required • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical or acute care RN experience Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or acute care setting strongly preferred • Previous experience working within an HCA facility • High-energy, outgoing personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us • Work alongside an experienced, collaborative team on a well-equipped Medical Surgical unit with modern patient care technology • 13-week contract assignment with a projected start date in fall 2026, offering a structured and defined travel opportunity
