Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Cambridge, MA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Days/Nights | 8-Week Assignment | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting across multiple units as part of a float pool • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition • Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and care coordination • Participate in weekly facility orientations as required • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact equivalent • Minimum 2+ years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN experience • Strong telemetry experience required due to float pool placement across multiple units • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records • Local candidates are welcome • All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application; no more than three days of requested time off will be considered, and holiday time-off requests will not be approved Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior experience in a float pool or multi-unit environment • Familiarity with large academic or community hospital settings • Strong adaptability and ability to quickly acclimate to varying unit workflows Why Join Us • Immediate winter staffing opportunity with an early January start date for qualified candidates • Gain diverse clinical experience across multiple units within a well-established healthcare system
