Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Winchester, MA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit in a float capacity, covering multiple units as needed • Monitor and assess patients on telemetry, responding promptly to changes in condition • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and safety standards throughout all shifts Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts or compact equivalent • Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience • Previous travel nursing experience required • Proficiency with Epic EMR is required • Ability to float across units as assigned • Time-off requests exceeding three days during the contract period will not be considered; holiday time-off requests will not be approved • Local candidates are welcome to apply Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment • Strong telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills • Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced acute care settings Why Join Us • Short-term 8-week contract offering an opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience across multiple units • Expected 72 hours biweekly, providing a consistent and structured schedule (on-call hours are separate and not included in expected hours)
