Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Newburyport, MA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Rotating 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Required | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry unit with established nurse-to-patient ratios • Rotate between day and night shifts as needed to meet unit staffing needs • Monitor telemetry patients and respond to changes in cardiac status appropriately • Float between Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as required • Participate in a self-scheduling environment while remaining flexible to fill open shifts as directed Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Massachusetts or compact equivalent • Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical RN experience required • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, every other weekend, and every other holiday • No requested time off (RTO) during the contract period • Local candidates are welcome to apply Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior Telemetry nursing experience with cardiac monitoring proficiency • Familiarity with staffing ratios in both Medical Surgical and Telemetry settings • Experience in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment Why Join Us • Expected 72 hours biweekly across the contract assignment, with on-call hours tracked separately • Winter staffing opportunity at a well-established facility with flexible scheduling accommodations when possible
