Job Title Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (LDRP) Location Sidney, MT | Critical Access Hospital Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns throughout the childbirth and recovery journey • Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs); serve as second nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients • Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum recovery • Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient-centered care • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management • Float to Med/Surg, CCU, or ER as needed to support staffing demands Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • Must be labor-trained • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required • S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required • Fetal Monitoring certification – Intermediate level or above required • Willingness to be placed on-call by the OB manager up to 3 times per 13-week contract period, if needed Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume obstetrics unit • Comfort with cross-training and floating to Med/Surg, CCU, or ER settings • Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital environment Why Join Us • Play a critical role in guiding patients through one of life's most meaningful moments in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Urgent need — opportunity to step into an impactful position within a supportive interdisciplinary team
