Job Description Key Tasks & responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, focusing on workflow optimization and automation. • Develop and maintain Jenkins shared libraries and plugins using Groovy. • Create and maintain automated scripts and tools using Python to enhance CI/CD processes. • Integrate various testing frameworks and code quality tools into the CI/CD pipelines. • Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.Monitor pipeline health and performance, implementing improvements as needed. • Monitor daily state of CI environment • Provide weekly status reports of CI environment • Collaborate with development teams to integrate their projects into the CI/CD system. • Document CI/CD workflows, best practices, and troubleshooting guides. • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in CI/CD tooling Minimum education requirements and experience • Bachelor Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years of commercial experience, Master Science with 3 years of experience, • Expertise in DevOps Technologies & Principles (CI/CD)Experience with (Cloud Based) CI Systems like Jenkins, Gitlab CI or even GitHub Actions. Preferred qualifications & skills • Experience in pipeline/workflow development (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). • Proficiency in container virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker or LXC).Skilled in platform-independent scripting languages (e.g., Python) for tool development and testing. • Proficiency in platform-dependent Unix scripting languages (e.g., BASH for Linux). • Advanced git usage for continuous integration and developer tooling support.Experience with REST APIs and other service integrations. • Experience with (embedded) software build systems Other recommended qualifications & skills • Experience in Cloud Infrastructure Technologies & Tools e.g., Azure Cloud (AKS)Container orchestration Systems e.g., KubernetesJSON; XML for configuration management of the different tools & services • Experience with Agile working model (Scrum)Software Architecture modelling expertise • Mentoring experience in DevOps fieldsSought after soft skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently. • Great problem-solving and analytical skills.Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset Qualifications • BE/ME Electronics background Additional Information • 5 to10 years of experience
