As an Assistant Manager, you will work collaboratively with store leadership to maintain operational excellence while fostering a positive, inclusive work environment where every team member can thrive. • Oversee and manage daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards • Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals while maintaining high service standards • Manage cash handling, financial transactions, and reconciliation with accuracy and attention to detail • Respond to customer inquiries professionally and resolve issues promptly with empathy and decisiveness • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards • Train new and existing team members on company policies, procedures, and best practices • Assist in inventory management, stock control, and ordering processes • Answer phone calls and manage customer orders efficiently • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures consistently across all shifts • Collaborate with the store manager to analyze performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and achieve sales targets • Handle scheduling and staff coordination to optimize coverage and operational efficiency • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support team development Qualifications • Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment • Strong mathematical and analytical skills for effective cash management and inventory control • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse audiences • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in high-pressure situations • Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications • Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods • Friendly, positive demeanor with a genuine customer-first mindset and commitment to service excellence • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed • High school diploma or equivalent qualification • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities • Experience with staff scheduling, performance management, and team development • Knowledge of retail or food service operations and compliance requirements • Business management education or relevant professional development (preferred) Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
