Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for an Environmental Systems Assistant Regional Supervisor in the Northern Region of Maryland, located at the Dorsey Run facility in Jessup, MD, within our Water/Wastewater Group. This position is responsible for overall management of the water, wastewater and industrial wastewater treatment systems that the Maryland Environmental Service is responsible for within a designated region. This includes the administration and supervision of all operations and maintenance activities and personnel. The four (CSUS) courses must be approved by the Chief of Operations. If all or additional courses are needed to meet this requirement, MES will allow 18 months for the employee to complete the required courses. • 2. The “Manage for Success” or equivalent CSUS management course that is approved by the MES Training Office must also be completed for this position. AND 2 years as an Environmental Systems Supervisor with the Maryland Environmental Service OR 7 years of progressively responsible experience as an operator of water, wastewater or industrial wastewater treatment systems, including at least two years supervising or directing plant personnel. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
