This position is currently located on the Leestown campus. The position requires flexibility of scheduling which will include both on campus and online classes Job Duties: • Participate in the administration, organization, and supervision of the educational program • Continuous quality review and improvement of the educational program • Participate in long range planning and ongoing development of the program • Effectiveness of the program, including instruction and faculty, with systems in place to demonstrate the effectiveness of the program • Cooperative involvement with the EMS team. • Participate in the orientation/training and supervision of clinical and field internship preceptors • Effectiveness and quality of fulfillment of responsibilities • Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: • Associates degree and minimum of five (5) years certified or licensed as a Paramedic. • Provide documentation that two (2) years of the five (5) years’ experience required is experience providing care with an EMS organization that complies with the requirements. • Be knowledgeable about the current versions of the National EMS Scope of Practice and National EMS Education Standards and evidenced-informed clinical practice. • Provide proof of completion of a KBEMS approved EMS educator course that meets the objectives of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and possess a valid KBEMS Level III Instructor certification.
