We are working with a spacious, modern, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in San Diego, CA, that’s seeking an experienced Veterinary Medical Director to lead its team into its next chapter. This is a full-service hospital with more than 40 years of community history, a loyal client base, and an experienced support team already in place, so you are stepping onto a solid foundation rather than starting from scratch. As Medical Director, you will set and uphold the standard of medicine, mentor the doctors and technicians around you, and partner closely with a collaborative Hospital Manager on weekly priorities and hospital protocols, from intake through to discharge. You will still enjoy a meaningful clinical caseload across preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery, supported by an in-house lab and pharmacy.
