Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) contract for 13 weeks at a long-term care facility near Kirksville, Missouri. Provide evening or night shift care to residents with flexible scheduling. This role supports quality resident care in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans and facility policies. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. • Monitor residents' conditions, recognize changes in health status, and report concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. • Document nursing assessments, medication administration, treatments, and resident progress accurately. • Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident comfort, dignity, and safety. • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care. • Follow infection control procedures and established safety protocols. • Respond to resident needs and medical emergencies during scheduled shifts. Qualifications: • Active Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license • Minimum 1 year of LPN experience • Previous long-term care (LTC) experience required • BLS certification required
