As a Retail Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas throughout a luxury retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat10:00 AM - 09:00 PMSun11:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a high-end retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, stock areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support a welcoming shopping environment. • Monitor access points and observe customer, visitor, and employee activity while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter theft, unauthorized entry, and other security-related concerns. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to site procedures. • Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: • At least one year of security-related experience is required. • Supervisory experience is required. • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Loss prevention experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
