Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.15 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a utilities-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support site operations. • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site-specific procedures. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations and coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders. • Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and completely using required reporting systems. Minimum Requirements: • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. • X-ray screening experience is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
